Mr. Jineetkumar Gawad, faculty of School of Pharmacy & Technology Management, Shirpur campus, received Travel Grant from European Molecular Biology Organisation (EMBO) to attend workshop on ‘Challenges for Magnetic Resonance in Life Sciences’ from 27th-31st May 2018 jointly organized by University of Florence, Italy and University of Göttingen, Germany at Grosseto, Italy. He also presented his research work entitled ‘In silico Designing of Novel Imidazo [4,5-b] Pyridine Derivatives as Potent Decaprenyl phosphoryl-β-D-ribose 2′-epimerase (DprE1) Inhibitors and Application of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy in Process of Antitubercular Drug Discovery’.
He is pursuing his Ph.D. under the guidance of Dr. Chandrakant Bonde, Professor, SPTM, SVKM’s NMIMS. Dr. Chandrakant Bonde along with Dr. Santosh Bothe, Associate Professor, MPSTME, SVKM’s NMIMS, Shirpur helped in drafting and submitting the application which was supported by Dr. R.S. Gaud, Director, SVKM’s Pharmacy Institutions and Dr. Ashwini Deshpande, Associate Dean, SPTM, SVKM’s NMIMS, Shirpur. We congratulate Mr. Jineetkumar Gawad for this achievement!
