On 26th November 2015, at around 3.30 PM all the faculty and staff members of MPTP Shirpur Campus gathered in the conference hall to celebrate Constitution Day. The program is started by reciting the preamble of our constitution by all the participants. Then, Prof. Ainal Abdul Aziz delivered a speech on constitution of India. He highlighted those olden days how Dr. B.R.Ambedkar headed the team who had been given the charge of writing the constitution of India. He narrated the specialty of our constitution and how it is unique and different from the constitutions of other countries. He also emphasized why it is necessary for every citizen to know and understand the fundamental rights and duties. After that Prof. A.B.Page threw some lights to the British rules and the Acts passed in British Parliament to make India free and how and when it is decided to write a new constitution for the independent India. He also spoke about the sections, articles and amendments that have been made in our constitution. The program ended with the national anthem.
