"NOVUS 2014" A fresher's day event was organized by Professor Payal Dande and Professor Ajay Wagh on 13th of August 2014 at MPTP Auditorium. The organizing committee took hard toiling efforts to ensure the smooth conduction of the event.

Every year we celebrate "Novus 2014" to showcase the talents of newcomers and to welcome them in the SPTM family. The students of M.B.A (Pharm Tech), first year participated in the event with full enthusiasm. It was a fun-filled event which provided the juniors with an excellent opportunity to showcase their multi-fold talents & skills.
The dignitaries who graced the occasion included Dr. M. V. Deshpande, Colonel Seherawat, Mr. Rahul Dande, Group Captain R. K. Beniwal, Dr.P.Raichurkar, Mr. Anil Nigam, Mr.N.Chaubey. and others. The wise jury was composed of Prof. Shashikant Patil, Ms. Nupur Mitra, Ms. Nimmi Mir and Dr. Ashwini Deshpande. The event was inaugurated with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and felicitation of the luminaries.
The event showcased a complete rapport between the organizing committee and participants. The programs kick-started with a ramp walk in which 9 pairs of contestants vied for the titles of Mr. & Ms. Fresher 2014.
The contest included several rounds involving talent display, G.K. quiz and a Questionnaire round from the jury, where the contestants had to prove that they were persons with beauty and brains and had the presence of mind and confidence
The juniors also put up various dance and singing performances, which wove the magic of joy and entertainment into the event.
The audiences were mesmerized and loved the performances of students.
At the end of the enthralling competition, Mr. Atharva Bamgude and Ms. Shambhavi Shahi were crowned as Mr. & Ms Fresher 2014.
Everyone including Dignitories, Chairpersons, fellow colleagues and students congratulated and appreciated the efforts taken by Prof.Payal Dande, Incharge student activity and the student committee members for the successful conduction of the event. The committee included
