Teacher's Day is celebrated every year in SVKM’S NMIMS to mark the birthday of former president Dr. S.V. Radhakrishnan. The Teacher’s Day Celebration of 2014 was organised by the students of 3rd year MBA Pharma Tech with the guidance of Mrs. Payal Dande.
Invited Guests like Dr. Pradeep Waychal (Director, NMIMS Shirpur), Colonel S.S.Sehrawat (Head, Campus Security), Dr. M.V.Deshpande (Associate Dean, MPSTME), Dr. Pramod Raichurkar (Associate Dean (Textiles), MPSTME), the staff and the students of SPTM inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp & offering prayers to Goddess Saraswati. All faculty memebers recited Saraswati Vandana. It was succeeded by the felicitation of all the invited dignitaries by the students of SPTM. The anchoring of the felicitation was handled by Ms. Shraddha Bhatt and Ms. Varsha Pillai, students of 3rd year MBA Pharma Tech. This was then followed by the games organised by the students. This was followed by a prize distribution ceremony where the winners of the games were announced and prizes were distributed.
The event was concluded thanking all the dignitaries, faculties and the students for gracing the event with their presence and making the event successful.
The organising committee included the following students- Ms.Shraddha Bhatt, Ms. Varsha Pillai, Ms. Aparna Tripathi, Ms. Sneha Tirumani, Ms. Himani Sharma and Ms. Shubhra Kalia.
The event was followed by a get-together and small refreshment at the end.
