Interest areas: I am trained as a pharmacologist in the areas of neuropharmacology, cancer, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, pulmonary, antimicrobial, and metabolic disorders. As a faculty and an independent researcher, I want to dedicate my efforts to teaching and research. My interest lies in developing more effective therapeutic regimens to enhance treatment efficacy and minimize adverse effects. My lab will be rooted in the following areas:

  • Therapeutic target identification and validation
  • Understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying disease progression and resistance to current therapies
  • Drug design and discovery (Structure-based, Ligand-based drug design, AI-driven drug discovery)
  • Ethnopharmacology
  • Evaluating molecules and drugs for their efficacy, pharmacokinetics, mechanistic insights, and toxicological screening using both in vitro and in vivo preclinical disease models
  • Develop novel drug delivery systems and formulation strategies
  • Bioavailability and Bioequivalence studies

Awards:

  • Received fellowships (Junior Research Fellow and Senior Research Fellow) during Ph.D. from Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD) and IIT(BHU).
  • Institutional travel grant from IIT(BHU) in 2018, to present Ph.D. research work at Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research & Education in Cancer (ACTREC), Tata Memorial Centre, Navi Mumbai, India.
  • Received fellowship during M.Pharm from Government of India, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
