SVKM’s NMIMS School of Pharmacy & Technology Management (SPTM), Shirpur, successfully conducted a large-scale ESG Awareness Campaign under the NMIMS ESG Research Chair, supported by the Mirae Asset Foundation. The initiative focused on key areas such as health, environment, education, social equity, agriculture, and rural development under the guidance of Dr. Mahendra Prajapati, Mr. Rajesh Verma, and Dr. Vishal Beldar.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Kashiram Vechan Pawara, along with SVKM leadership, faculty, and community representatives. School principals and gram sarpanchs from 20 villages were felicitated for their contribution to grassroots survey efforts. Dr. Sunita Patil welcomed the gathering and shared insights into the initiative.
The project team presented findings from an ESG survey conducted across 20 villages, highlighting issues like water scarcity, sanitation gaps, and agricultural challenges. An interactive dashboard developed using Power BI showcased real-time insights and future action plans.
Expert sessions by Shri Rajgopalji Bhandari, Dr. Ravi Wankhedkar, and Shri Tukaram Dorik emphasized sustainable development, public health, and water conservation practices.
The campaign witnessed active participation from rural communities and concluded with a water conservation pledge, reinforcing commitment toward sustainable and inclusive development.
