SVKM’s NMIMS School of Pharmacy & Technology Management (SPTM), Shirpur, celebrated National Pharmacy Education Day on March 06, 2026, under the convenorship of Dr. S. S. Pancholi and coordination of Dr. Shilpa Mandpe. The event commemorated “Pharma Anveshan” and paid tribute to Prof. M. L. Schroff for his pioneering contributions to pharmacy education in India.
The program commenced with an insightful tribute video showcasing the evolution of pharmacy education and Prof. Schroff’s legacy, inspiring students to uphold professional values and excellence. A major highlight of the event was the E-Poster Competition based on the theme “Future Pharma Ecosystem: Fostering Synergy among Academia, Industry, Research, Regulatory and Practice.” The competition encouraged students to demonstrate innovation, interdisciplinary understanding, and research-oriented thinking. Entries were evaluated by an expert panel on scientific merit, creativity, and presentation quality.
Yadnya Lahire (M.Pharm + MBA, Sem II) secured the first position, followed by Palak Sharma (B.Pharm + MBA, Sem II) as the runner-up.
Overall, the event successfully blended historical appreciation with forward-looking perspectives, motivating students to actively contribute to the evolving pharmaceutical landscape.
