VISTAAR 2024, the flagship student-led Pharma Tech Fest, was successfully hosted on March 22–23, 2024. With a focus on bridging the gap between academia and industry, the fest provided an exciting platform for students to explore scientific, technological, and entrepreneurial domains through competitive and knowledge-driven events.
With 78+ student participants and events across diverse categories, the energy and innovation on display reflected the evolving spirit of the pharmaceutical community.
Day 1 Highlights – March 22, 2024
Kwiz Wisely

• Event: Mock trial based on a real-world pharma patent case (Cipla vs. Novartis – Onbrez)
• Teams analyzed legal arguments, presented facts, and debated intellectual property rights.

• An engaging session that honed legal analysis and public speaking skills.

The Inaugural Address was delivered by Dr. ShyamSunder Pancholi, followed by an enthusiastic overview by Mr. Anubhab Bhattacharya, Student In-Charge of VISTAAR’24.
Valedictory Session & Keynote
The Chief Guest, Mr. Milind Sonawane (Associate Director - External Quality, MSD Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai), delivered an insightful keynote address on:
• The future of biopharmaceuticals and personalized medicine
• Integration of digital technologies in healthcare
• Importance of GMP and regulatory compliance
• Facing interviews with confidence – Career takeaways for freshers
The session concluded with a dynamic Q&A and a vote of thanks by Mr. Saurabh Maru, faculty co-coordinator.
Closing Note
Dr. Preeti Sangave, Faculty Coordinator, presented the event report summarizing the key highlights. The prize distribution ceremony honored all winning teams and celebrated the success of VISTAAR 2024.
